The women of Madrigaia charm audiences with their many musical talents. With pulsing, percussive beats, the group performs songs from over a dozen different countries, such as Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, India, Poland, Israel and of course from their French-Canadian roots. In 2003, they won a Canadian Independent Music Award for Best World Music Album and Best World-Fusion Album at the International Independent Music Awards in 2005.
