Join the Germantown Symphony for an intimate evening of music. Linda Pereksta, flute, will perform W. A. Mozart's Flute Concerto in G Major with the GSO. Dr. Pereksta has appeared with Mallarme Chamber Players, Grammy-nominated jazz artist Nnenna Freelon, the Iowa Center for New Music and the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra. A two-time prize winner in the National Flute Association's Baroque Flute Artist Competition, she is now Chair of the NFA's Historical Flutes Committee and is on the faculty of The University of Mississippi. The concert will also feature Bach's Orchestra Suite No. 3 in D Major, Persichetti's Serenade No. 1 for Ten Wind Instruments, and Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite II.
