        Although very little is left of the original play, this adaptation is extremely well done. There is rather a lot of shouting, but the funny parts are hilarious, the serious parts are absorbing and... Expand

        Although very little is left of the original play, this adaptation is extremely well done. There is rather a lot of shouting, but the funny parts are hilarious, the serious parts are absorbing and thoughtful, and the music is wonderful. I don't know that I agree with the writer/director's conclusion that his play is really about the fulfillment of human potential, but I'm not sure it matters -- there's a real banquet in this play, when it comes to food for thought.
