What a terrific surprise! Jim and his band lifted me out of 2008 and transported me back to the late 1960's. Watching the pictures of the Beatles on the screen behind the band, while the words and music of John and Paul were so lovingly played by this great group, was about as close as one could get to seeing the Fab Four in concert. The intimacy of the Bartlett Performing Arts Center was an amazing venue for this great show. One of the highlights of the show was the beautiful acoustic work of "Yesterday", "Blackbird" (I have never heard it played better), and "Love Me Do". The closing number, "Golden Slumbers", gave me chills. The challenge for these talented musicians is that they are playing material we know right down to our bones. Jim really seems to get it that love for the Beatles work is something that each of us hold inside. It is a thing of special value and needs to be handled with care. I really felt honored to be in attendance. Collapse

"Homeschoolers in the play"

It is not only the students of Bon Lin, but many homeschoolers as well. I believe they started it for homeschoolers in the beginning and then opened it up to the student of Bon Lin also.
