Artists to Discuss Temporary Art Projects with Public
    Friday, May 30
    6:30 PM
Memphis College of Art Callicott Auditorium
    1930 Poplar Avenue, Overton Park

Billboards, walls, sidewalks, bus seats, mail, trees, park benches, and radio waves around Memphis have all been taken over by temporary public art over the past few months. Now, artists involved with the ten projects that were part of the UrbanArt Commission's 10th Anniversary, Interactions/Interruptions, are prepared to discuss their involvement with public art, their expectations for their projects, and their reactions to the public response.

Artists scheduled to participate include Catherine Blackwell, Dwayne Butcher, Greely Myatt, Delbert Sisk, and Tad Lauritzen-Wright. They will be discussing their temporary projects and taking questions from the audience.

For more information contact the UrbanArt Commission, 901-525-0880.
