COPLAND Orchestral Variations MOZART Piano Concerto No. 22 in E-flat Major, K 482
MUSSORGSKY/GORCHAKOV Pictures at an Exhibition
This program presents one of Mozart's great but not frequently played piano concerti and orchestrations of the paano works of Copland and Mussorgsky. Our concert's pianist, Jonathan Biss, has won many awards including the Leonard Bernstein Award at the 2005 Schleswig-Holsein Festival. Follow Mussorgsky as he takes us on an imaginary musical tour of an art museum.
