Join us for Conservation Through Art Family Day at Shelby Farms! This event is free and open to the public. Activities include: fishing, art activities, outdoor conservation and recreation games, duck calling lessons, decoy petting, working dog demonstrations, an outdoor performance by Voices of the South and much more! Family day is produced in partnership with the Great Outdoors University.

Fall 2008 will be the 3rd year of this unique and very successful initiative linking habitat conservation and the arts. Chaired by Billy Dunavant and his wife, Tommie, along with long standing leadership team members, Anne and John Stokes and Susan and Chuck Smith, and new members Elizabeth and Trow Gillespie. The honorees will be well-known Memphis civic leaders and philanthropists, Allen B. Morgan, Jr., Chairman, Morgan Keegan and Company and Vice Chairman, Regions Financial Corp. and his brother, Henry W. Morgan, President, Boyle Investment Company. Conservation through Art includes a number of free events such as Family Day and art displays as well as a culminating gala dinner where Allen Morgan Jr and Henry Morgan will be honored.

Weekly event showcasing fresh local produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, herbs and other homemade goods for sale in a family-friendly, health-focused atmosphere with plenty of free parking, pet sitting, cooking demonstrations, live music and of course, the freshest local produce around. Each week will also have a theme related to the latest harvest, as well as special family-oriented events. All sales at the market go to sustain local farms.

GERMANTOWN FESTIVAL.

Admissioin is FREE to this two-day festival located in Germantown, TN. The festival is fun for the whole family with hundreds of arts & crafts booths, children rides & games, live stage entertainment, mouth-watering festival food, car exhibits and the ever popular "Running of the Weenies" Dachshund race on Sunday at 2:30. Free Shuttle Buses will run from 2 Free Parking Lots located at Union University, 2745 Hacks Cross Road and Germantown Performing Arts Center at Exeter and Neshoba.

RiverArtsFest is an annual fine arts festival in downtown's historic South Main Arts District. Admission to RiverArtsFest is free. RiverArtsFest features an artist market with more than 150 national and regional artists, as well as an invitational art exhibition, art demonstrations, food, music and more.
