Tracy Lauritzen Wright, Chief Operating Officer, ARTSmemphis

Can you imagine a world without art?

It would be lifeless and without color. Tracy Lauritzen Wright is working to make sure that Memphis’ art scene remains vibrant.

As COO of ArtsMemphis, she makes sure that funds are smartly spent, supporting dozens of organizations and hundreds of artists.

Her world revolves around grants, initiatives, and volunteers.

Wright worked for the National Civil Rights Museum and Delta Axis before joining ArtsMemphis as the director of grants and initiatives. She was promoted to chief operating officer of the organization in 2019.

Said her Super Women nominator, “Tracy has the rare ability to innovate her organizations and also share their missions on a larger scale.”
