Art by Design, Memphis’ Premier Design Event, Returns April 3-7 Benefitting ARTSmemphis

MEMPHIS—ARTSmemphis, the Mid-South’s primary arts funder, is pleased to announce the return of Art by Design, taking place April 3-7 at Agricenter International.

Presented by First Horizon, Art by Design is a curated series of events and presentations designed to highlight Memphis’ interior design community and simultaneously support the local arts community.

Centered around vignettes and arts activations in a gallery showroom format, this production has raised more than $700,000 for ARTSmemphis since 2016.

Led this year by stylist Amy Golden, HGTVDesign Star Carmeon Hamilton, and Ann Parker of Parker Design Studio, the fifth Art by Design—a series of four signature events coupled with general admission—will feature a cast of emerging and established Memphis designers and is expected to attract over 2,000 attendees from across the Mid-South.

This year’s designer lineup includes:

Ami Austin Interior Design
Maggie Clarke Interiors
Hayley Davis Interiors
Driscoll Design
Tara Felice Interiors
Carmeon Hamilton & Colin Chapman, Nubi Interiors
Lovelace Studios
Elizabeth Malmo Interior Design
Lindley Martens Design
Selena McAdams
Parker Design Studio
Lee Pruitt Interior Design
A. Shaw Style
Caroline V. Smith Interiors

In addition to supporting the Memphis arts community, Art by Design provides opportunities to strengthen the interior design field both locally and regionally. ARTSmemphis is thrilled to waive the vignette fee for up to three emerging designers or designer teams to participate in this years’ Art by Design. Applications for emerging designers will be accepted until February 12. Requirements and details may be found on ARTSmemphis’ website.

Additionally, this year will include a first-ever marketplace, allowing the general public to shop art, furniture, and accents featured inside and around the vignettes of Art by Design, which are generously constructed by RKA Construction. Marketplace vendors include Stovall Collection with designer Missy Steffens and Dorothy Collier & Alice Kerley.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Art by Design event lineup, which features:
